What does it mean to be "by the porchlight" anyway? It is just that some bad speller who likes to creep on her neighbours all day sitting on her front porch?
Well, whenever I think about my happy place (or just about relaxing in not so lame-faced terms), I always go directly to the image of some kind of porch, a good book, and a cool breeze. That is my happy place. And it was the inspiration for this blog.
To me, this blog is about finding new ways to be creative, finding a little more purpose. And what is more inspiring that a happy place! A porch!

My favorite is the second porch. Maybe it's because I grew up in the country, but I prefer the cozy, bucolic look. :)
