I can't believe tomorrow is Xmas Eve already! Where did the time go? I just remembered that there's a cd I wanted to buy Steve and never got around to it (something by The Punch Brothers - he likes twangy bluegrass --but hates country...get that?-- so I thought this might be a good gift) so, sadly, I have to brave crazy hoards of last-minute shoppers.
We've got a few friends coming over for drinks tomorrow night. Thought it would be a nice thing to do on Xmas Eve - spend time with friends. As all good gatherings require, I'm going to put together some of my favourite bruschetta.
On that note, I just got to thinking about thinking about Xmas morning food. It would be nice to make something special that morning! Cinnamon buns are always delicious - I've heard some people say that's what they have on Xmas morning. Here are a few other Xmas morning breakfast ideas:
I'm thinking the monkey bread has won me over. My hubby will be pleased!
I'll leave you with this little treat. This is one talented musician/blogger! I love her music but even before that I liked her blog so I'll be sponsoring her in January. Anyway, check out this song from Chantilly who blogs at Chantilly Songs.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful holiday, everyone!
