Tune in the new year

New music is always a much appreciated gift in my house! There's nothing more thoughtful than a new CD (or book!) from someone who really took the time to think "This sounds like something ____ would really like."

So, let me share a bit of my new music with you! Steve always buys me CDs for Xmas, which I love, and this year was no different.

First up, Whitehorse! I truly love this band. And how cute are they? Probably the most gorgeous, talented married couple ever!


What my poor hubby didn't realize, though, was that I had sneakily bought myself Whitehorse's new CD the week before Xmas while I was supposed to be shopping for him...but no fear! I exchanged it for this one!

The new Amelia Curran album! A Newfoundlander with a heavenly voice. I've been listening to this song on repeat the last couple of days.


And finally, Steve's thoughtful purchase of a Serena Ryder cd for me! I had actually never really listened to her before (gasp!) but Steve thought she sounded like someone I would love and he was right. What a smart guy!

Jian Ghomeshi is adorable.
