So, I guess I'll share my recipe with you. It's super tasty!
3/4 c brown sugar
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger (fresh, minced or dry)
2-1/2 c water
5 tbsp honey
1/4 c soy sauce
3 tbsp cornstarch
3/4 c water
Mix together the sugar, garlic, ginger, 2-1/2 c water, honey and soy sauce in a saucepan. Bring this to a boil. Then whisk in the cornstarch and 3/4 c water and stir constantly until the sauce is thickened.
I usually cook chicken thighs and drumsticks in the sauce at 375. Cook the chicken alone on a baking sheet for 40 mins, then transfer it to a glass baking dish and cover it with sauce. Bake for 15-20 mins.
I doubled the sauce recipe so that I'd have tons to jar and freeze for later.
And that's all there is to it! Happy cooking!
I have a sponsor I'd like you to meet! Serena from Spillerena!
Serena @ Spillerena
I asked all my January sponsors to tell me about their New Years resolutions. Serena's was to "drink less and to move more, and to work on my online shopping addiction. It's pretty bad..."
So pop over and say hi to this beautiful blogger and check in on how she's doing with those resolutions!
