So, I guess I'll share my recipe with you. It's super tasty!
Ingredients:
3/4 c brown sugar
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger (fresh, minced or dry)
2-1/2 c water
5 tbsp honey
1/4 c soy sauce
3 tbsp cornstarch
3/4 c water
Mix together the sugar, garlic, ginger, 2-1/2 c water, honey and soy sauce in a saucepan. Bring this to a boil. Then whisk in the cornstarch and 3/4 c water and stir constantly until the sauce is thickened.
I usually cook chicken thighs and drumsticks in the sauce at 375. Cook the chicken alone on a baking sheet for 40 mins, then transfer it to a glass baking dish and cover it with sauce. Bake for 15-20 mins.
I doubled the sauce recipe so that I'd have tons to jar and freeze for later.
And that's all there is to it! Happy cooking!
