Well well! Looks like I finally made something! Instead of just talking about how much I love diy projects, I figured it was about time.
So, I had a picture frame that was just collecting dust and an old unused Scrabble game so I thought I'd try and make something nice for my kitchen!
What I used:
An old picture frame I had around the house
Scrabble tiles (I bought the game last summer for $2 and never used it so I didn't feel too bad about taking the pieces out)
A piece of pretty paper to fit the frame
Glue gun
Whiteboard markers
I went to our local pretty paper supplier, called Urchin, about bought this pretty vintage-y design for my background.
After that, I just went nuts with the glue gun! I did a bit of rough measurement to make things line up.

I decided to glue the Scrabble tiles to the outside of the glass because I liked the way it looked better but you could do it inside if it'll fit. It was a bit tough getting everything lined up right but the good thing is the you can pop the tiles off the glass pretty easily if you use a glue gun! Trust me, I had to do this a couple of times.
And that's it! Now I just need to buy a dry-erase marker since that's the one ingredient I forgot.
