I woke up from the nicest dream this morning. Steve and I must have been somewhere in Europe and then on our way home decided to "stop in" to Spain so I could show him the island I spent a month on working on an archaeology dig (and that flight only cost us $5... imagine that!). Then, again on our way home, we stopped in to Poland because I wanted to show him Krakow which I had loved so much. For some reason, though, the most part of the dream in Poland was spent in a gift shop looking for postcards... Hmm... I do love gift shops and postcards but that's a bit weird.
So, now my travel bug is back and all I wanna do is plan out a new adventure. Steve has never really gotten a chance to travel. He's been to Bermuda three times to visit his brother and sis-in-law who are lucky enough to live there, but aside from Canada he's never traveled. And I can't wait till we can afford a European or Asian adventure! I've been dreaming of it since we got together four+ years ago.
First stop, Eastern European
Croatia, Turkey, Estonia? Yes, please! I really don't know much about these locations at all. I just see such an amazing landscape and architecture and immediate drawn to that part of the world.
Has anyone been to Eastern Europe? Tell me about it! I'd love travel tips!
Next, we've been dying to take a trip to the States!
New York City! Boston! California! Poor Steve hasn't even been to Florida before.
And lastly, Southeast Asia!
Ever since I went to Thailand last year (you can read about it here and here) I've wanted to take Steve there since it was such a great experience! There are lots of places I'd like to see in Thailand like the mountain regions and Chang Mai but I also want to experience Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and really anywhere that's safe to travel to!
My mouth is salivating just thinking about getting on a plane and going? Oh, Life. Why must you provide so little time (and $) per year for travel?

Went to Turkey most mainly Instanbul and some other cities. Then to Greece. Want to go back. It was amazing.
Oh this makes me want to rethink our honeymoon ideas.
I have been to Paris, Spain and Mexico. Brandon isn't a big outside of the states type of guy... but I may have to start dragging him out for some new adventures!
I want to travel to Poland too! I hate when I get bit by the travel bug, and I can't go anywhere! I go places, but they aren't always places that I want to go to! -Jessica L
so many beautiful places! it would be nice to be able to visit them all!
I've been all over Europe (lived in Prague) and all over Asia (lived in Korea) and I love Asia so much more. It's so beautiful and cheap and everyone speaks English! Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia are awesome and I also loved Malaysia, Bali, and the Philippines. I just bought plane tickets last week to visit Chicago in May and Greece in September. Excited!!
Just found your blog, it's great! And you're in Newfoundland to top it off. I'm an Ottawa blogger from BC. Don't even think about it, just go to Croatia whenever you get the chance. I've traveled all over the world and it was one of my most memorable trips. So unbelievably beautiful!

Turkey. Oh, go to Turkey. And go a little too far into Turkey...you know, the parts where they tell you not to go. I spent a good chunk of time there and loved it. I really enjoy countries that make "touristland" easily escapable and Turkey was definitely one of them. Also absolutely adored Romania and Hungary and Croatia.
Ahhh I'm literally (but not really) just dying looking at these pictures...why must planes & travel be so expensive?? But I enjoyed dreaming together :)
